Accounting Assistant (Full-Time)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs a variety of administrative duties to generally support the Accounting Department by performing clerical tasks in addition to accounting functions including the processing and recording of transactions, preparing and filing financial reports, preparing, monitoring and analyzing budgets, preparing and filing employment reports and taxes, communications with staff, clients and vendors, fact-checking invoices and contracts to ensure the accuracy of payments, filing, and other duties, as needed.

Will be responsible for working closely with the Accounting Manager to ensure budgets and funds are monitored to comply with contract dates, fund uses and closeout procedures. 

Requirements:

Prefer some college level education along with good solid experience in the accounting filed. Must have good communication, organizational skills and be proficient in computer/technical abilities.

Working Conditions:

Professional office environment, working within a team of managers and communicating work and accomplishing tasks across departments.
